Pork or Beef Stew
(4 servings)
Stews are very easy to make, and you can use the meat and vegetables you want. I never include any onions, garlic or spices because I can't digest them, but I find that the herbs I use are enough to add a bit of extra flavour.

Ingredients:
-1 package of beef cubes, or pork tenderloin 2 carrots, or 1 small (340g) bag of baby carrots 4 large potatoes
-1 tablespoon (15 ml) of dry parsley
-1 tablespoon (15 ml) of dry oregano
-1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) of salt
-1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) of ground black pepper
Recipe and cooking instructions:
-Put the beef cubes or cut pork tenderloin, as well as the
peeled and cut carrots (or content of the bag of baby
carrots) plus potatoes into a crock pot.
-Put 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of dry parsley, 1 tablespoon
(15ml) of dry oregano, 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) of salt, and
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) of ground black pepper into the crock pot.
-Add water until everything is covered.
-Plug in the crock pot and cook on low for 8 hours, or high
for 6 hours.
(If you don't own a crock pot, simply simmer everything in
a large pot for about two hours.)
-Turn the crock pot (or burner) off, then serve a mixture of
tender meat and vegetables on each plate or bowl.
-If desired, pour a bit of broth in each plate or bowl.
